Shipping YouTube Gaming
I led UX for YouTube Gaming, designing flows and systems for gaming publishers and 200M daily viewers.
What this case should tell you about me: my fundamentals come from shipping at the largest scale there is.
I was UX Lead of YouTube Gaming. I initiated foundational research of gaming user journeys and drove it into team strategy and metrics. Partnered with senior PM and Eng leads on a user-centered roadmap, then designed the end-to-end flows and scalable systems for gaming publishers and 200M daily viewers.
Working across product areas, I launched integrations with Google Play Games and Stadia, linking game accounts to YouTube. I also owned the YouTube-wide Verticals UX initiative, mentored junior designers, and conducted 8 Google-wide UX workshops.
Before Gaming, I was an interaction designer on YouTube Subscriptions and Social, where I launched YouTube Messages and Subscriptions features. Four years of shipping at that scale is where my fundamentals come from.
